Product Marketing Manager

Role Summary:

In order to meet investment growth plans, youll focus on strategic planning, digital marketing, and product marketing, working closely with the Head of Product to develop early-stage product marketing materials.

Youll need to be confident working in a small but rapidly growing marketing department in a deep-tech start-up, and happy to get hands-on with content creation and campaign management whilst you support the growing team. You will work closely with the leadership team to align marketing initiatives with the company's vision and business objectives.

Understanding the technology and products we offer is critical - you should be able to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strategy & Leadership:

  • Work closely with the existing Marketing Manager to fine-tune and implement the overall product marketing strategy aligned with the companys vision.
  • Contribute to the short- and long-term company strategy, including product positioning, pricing strategy, distribution channels, and go-to-market plans.
  • Oversee the product marketing roadmap that supports digiLabs strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to building and leading a high-performing marketing team, including assisting with hiring, setting objectives, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that supports creative marketing solutions and drives business growth.

Product Marketing:

  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to align on product vision and market needs
  • Create high-impact marketing collateral, including website content, sales decks, and product demos
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy
  • Lead product launches, including planning, execution, and post-launch analysis
  • Develop and maintain customer personas and use case documentation.

Digital Marketing:

  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, focusing on developing a new website, CRM, social media, lead generation, content strategy, and SEO/SEM strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our website.
  • Create compelling content that showcases our AI technology and its benefits to target audiences
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to craft messaging that effectively communicates our AI solutions' value proposition
  • Analyse campaign performance using web analytics tools and adjust strategies to maximise ROI
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and AI industry developments
  • Oversee the company's social media presence and develop engaging content to build our online community
  • Work closely with the product team to gather user feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies

Skills & Competencies:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Significant Marketing Experience.
  • Experience in product marketing, preferably within the software, deep tech, digital, tech, or electronics industries.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering marketing strategies that drive product and market success.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and best practices.
  • Proven ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

In addition to the above, a couple of nice to haves are:

  • Experience in SME and start-up environments, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting (all hands on deck - dont be afraid to get stuck in!)
  • Experience with re-branding initiatives.
  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level.
