We’re delighted to announce that Dan Hatfield is taking a stronger presence in the digiLab team. Dan has been a member of our Executive Board as non-executive director, but changes his role to be more hands-on.
From January, he takes on a new role as our full-time Chief Operating Officer, and will be leading and developing our people and business operations. He has 25 years of international business experience in senior roles at Dassault Systemes and IBM Global Services, and his expertise in strategy development, product development, and building teams for scale up will be invaluable for digiLab’s aspirational future growth plans in AI and machine learning for safety-critical engineering.
Dan is keen to support the digiLab team’s focus on sustainability and the environment, saying that, “it’s exciting to join this dynamic team of expert data scientists. The growth potential is enormous as ML/AI makes its impact felt across a growing range of industries in the transition to net zero”.
