The full-time role (Monday to Thursday), reporting to the Lead Software Engineer, covering a range of software engineering and machine-learning skills.

About the role

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will oversee the strategy and execution of our digital marketing activity, including website management, social media management, SEO, email & newsletters, targeted PPC campaigns, lead generation, and data analytics and automation. This full-time role (Monday to Thursday) will be a key addition to the marketing team and shape the planning and future of our digital presence.

What were looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Manager with an understanding of demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies in the B2B deep tech space. You will be responsible for managing our new website and our digital marketing campaigns, and ensuring our digital platforms are optimised for performance.

What you will be doing with us:

As the Digital Marketing Manager at digiLab, you will be responsible for:

  1. Website Management:

    • Assist with the building of the new website (if not already completed by your start date).
    • Proactively driving website optimisation and continuous improvement
    • Collaborating with the internal web team to implement updates and new features
    • Ensuring the website aligns with the company's branding and marketing objectives
    • Managing website performance, security, and user experience
  2. Lead & Demand Generation: Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and drive measurable outcomes..

    • Developing and managing impactful lead-generation strategies
    • Creating and optimise email campaigns and newsletters
    • Leading account-based marketing strategy
    • Collaborating with content creators to ensure effective messaging
  3. LinkedIn: Advise on social media strategy and implementation, focusing primarily on LinkedIn, with intentions to drive follower growth and increase engagement:

    • Developing and executing LinkedIn marketing strategies, including both PPC and organic content
    • Creating engaging content for LinkedIn campaigns
    • Monitoring and optimising LinkedIn performance metrics
  4. Digital Strategy & Execution:

    • Build the Digital Marketing skills and capabilities internally, educating the team about best practices and developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
  5. Marketing Automation: Managing and optimizing marketing automation platforms (e.g., ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or similar), including our CRM system, to execute nurture programs, segment audiences, and track engagement.

    • Build internal framework to roll out marketing automation tools that will integrate with our existing tech stack and CRM.
    • Working with the Sales and Business Development teams to align CRM strategies
    • Implementing best practices for data management and lead tracking

What Skills We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in digital marketing and website management
  • Professional industry in Deep Tech/ SaaS
  • Expertise in demand and lead-generation strategies
  • Proven expertise in growing social media presence (either directly or via an agency)
  • Experience with LinkedIn marketing and content creation
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and best practices
  • Expertise implementing marketing automation strategies and tools
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or similar platforms

Location

This role is a full-time role (Monday - Thursday) based on-site at digiLab’s offices on the Quay, Exeter.
